I  heard a voice so pure and easy
a songbird singing for me,
I had no choice, only to listen
and surrender to her world

나를 위해 노래하는 한마리 새를
속절없이 나는 들을수 밖에 없었네.
그리고 그녀의 세계에 빠져 들고 말았네

그리고 그 새는 '무지개 너머'로 날아가겠지.
그녀는 '황금벌판'을 걸어가겠지.
그녀가 천국의 높은 벽 위에서 노래할 때도
천사들은 나처럼 눈물을 흘릴까?

At first alone, then with
hundreds around me,
Enchanted by her song,
But as the day is done, and
the darkness is falling,
The songbird sings no more
처음엔 혼자, 그러나 내 주위 수많은 사람들이
그녀의 노래에 매혹되었네.
그러나 빛이 다하고 어둠이 내리자
그 새는 더 이상 노래하지 않게 되었네.

And now she flies over the rainbow,
